ANNECY: Seems strange I haven't put any photos up of Annecy and the surrounding area when I've spent the most time here! And it's a gorgeous city!
Palais de L'Isle, which used to be a prison
One of the canals running through the Vielle Ville (Old Town)
The Hotel de Ville
Annecy's lake: looks even more pretty on a sunny day
The Jardins (Gardens) de l'Europe, beside the lake
One of the streets of the old town, near the castle
I love these rooftops, not sure why but for some reason they remind me of Harry Potter!
The castle!
The other day we went walking up on the Plateau de Glières, where there is a memorial to the resistance who were there during the war
A closeup of the memorial on the plateau
The hills above the plateau where we went walking
Another view of the plateau (I actually took this photo back in July that's why it's sunny in this one and not in the others!)
This is the little church in La Jairaz, the village where Seb's grandma lives
A little lake I liked the look of near La Tour
A view over the countryside at Bogève

Bogève again: I've always liked contrails!
