BARCELONA 2: My next day in Barcelona was a big walking day, it felt like I covered the whole city on foot! But it's great, the best way to see everything properly. I started in the Gothic Quarter, then walked along the street called La Ramblas (lined with markets and stalls: some selling exotic animals I'm sure you need a permit for at home!), then headed to Ciutadella Park and the zoo!
A church in the Gothic quarter All the coloured candles inside
More beautiful stained glass windows, yes I have a thing for them I know! A covered bridge in the Gothic Quarter

The market on La Ramblas, La BoqueriaThe gardens in the internal courtyard of Barcelona Cathedral Geese in the courtyard! They live there along with huge koi in the pond
The arches of the cloister
Barcelona's Arc of Triumph, built for the World Expo

The entrance to Ciutadella Park, beautiful botanical gardens which were a nice spot to have lunch
